The meeting marked an important moment in the project\u2019s progression toward selecting the SMEs that will receive support under <strong>Open Call 1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The agenda was both <strong>intense and dynamic<\/strong>, reflecting the project\u2019s transition into a crucial phase. Partners reviewed the overall project status, aligned on upcoming tasks, and discussed the next steps leading into 2026. In addition to the working sessions, the consortium participated in <strong>three technical visits<\/strong>\u2014each offering valuable insights into industrial capabilities relevant to AID4SME\u2019s mission:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>JSI \u2013 Robotics and Systems &amp; Control Department<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li><strong>ELES \u2013 Slovenia\u2019s electric power transmission and system operator<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li><strong>LTH \u2013 a specialist in complex pressure die\u2011cast aluminium components<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Final Steps Toward Selecting 10 Innovative SMEs<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Following an impressive response to <strong>Open Call 1<\/strong>, which attracted <strong>more than 200 applications<\/strong>, the project is now in the <strong>delicate and exciting phase<\/strong> of selecting the SMEs that will participate in the upcoming solution\u2011development cycle.
