We are thrilled to announce that we are co-author of the 14th Open Access Publication from project PULSELiON: the journal article “All-solid-state lithium batteries with NMC955 cathodes: PVDF-free formulation with SBR and capacity recovery insights”, published in Energy Materials (August 2025). This article was also featured on the back cover of Energy Materials journal — an honour for the PULSELiON team! Download and read the work here. (http://dx.doi.org/10.20517/energymater.2024.297)
The study tackles the challenges of nickel-rich NMC955 cathodes in solid-state batteries. By using a PVDF-free sustainable binder (SBR) and optimized cycling protocols, the work demonstrates stable long-term performance, capacity recovery, and improved sustainability. The results position NMC955 as a promising cathode material for next-generation high-power and high-energy-density Solid State Batteries.
