Our project EXTENDED has kicked-off in Brussels about a week ago. We can look back to a great meeting, where presented the Exploitation, Dissemination and Communication work package as leader. Also we hosted a fire-fighting training as a teambuilding session. The EXTENDED project will design, develop, and validate the next-generation safe battery pack systems that will drive the mass-market adoption of electric vehicles. We thought a fire-fighting training was suitable to further build the #teamspirit. And of course because safer batteries will reduce the number of fires that fire-fighters have to deal with.
Congratulations đź‘Ź to all partners for having such a wonderful project and a great #teamspirit. A special thanks to the colleagues of Avesta Battery & Energy Engineering (ABEE) for their strong management of the project and for hosting us in the Burotel in Brussels.
TechConcepts will be leading part of the exploitation activities. In other words, we have an important role in ensuring that the battery technology developed in project EXTENDED will land in the car you will be driving around 2030! And we will probably organise some nice team-building events during our General Assembly meetings :-).
EXTENDED project will run from June 2023 to May 2026. We are really proud of being part of this project. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 101102278 (EXTENDED)
