TechConcepts is proud to have participated in the latest General Assembly (GA) meeting of the PULSELiON project during last 11 and 12 March, a Horizon Europe initiative developing next‑generation solid‑state battery manufacturing technologies. PULSELiON brings together specialists from across Europe to advance pulsed laser deposition (PLD) processes and enable large‑scale production of high‑performance solid‑state batteries.
The GA was kindly hosted by INEGI in Porto (Portugal). During the GA, project partners gathered to review technical progress, present updates from each work package, and align on the next steps in scaling up PLD‑based processes for solid-state battery components. Such GA meetings have proven crucial for strengthening collaboration across the consortium, ensuring milestones are met, and reinforcing the shared ambition to push the boundaries of European battery innovation.
As part of our role in Communication and Dissemination, TechConcepts contributes to shaping the project’s communication strategy, producing project materials, and capturing project highlights through video and storytelling. Also during this General Assembly, we have filmed interviews with researchers from RISE, INEGI, UPORTO and AVEST, helping to bring visibility to PULSELiON’s scientific advances and the novel PLD techniques behind the technology.
The PULSELiON consortium spans 15 countries and includes leading research institutes, universities, and industry partners. Together, we continue working toward the project’s goal: developing a safe, efficient, and scalable manufacturing route for Generation 4b solid‑state batteries using lithium‑metal anodes, sulfide solid electrolytes, and nickel‑rich NMC cathodes. TechConcepts looks forward to continuing this collaboration and contributing to the innovation, communication, and strategic impact efforts that drive PULSELiON forward.
