TechConcepts Participates in the EXTENDED General Assembly in Grenoble

Last week, the partners of the EXTENDED project gathered in Grenoble, France, for a productive General Assembly meeting hosted by CEA. The two‑day event, held from December 10th to 11th, brought together experts from across Europe to reflect on recent achievements, dive into technical discussions, and plan the next steps of this Horizon Europe initiative.

The meeting showcased significant advancements across multiple technical domains. The final day focused on several key topics essential to developing next‑generation battery pack systems, including Safety Assessment and Guidelines, Mechanical Solutions, Electrical Solutions, and Thermal Solutions. These sessions enabled partners to exchange insights, address upcoming challenges, and align efforts as the project moves toward its next major milestones.

As part of the programme, TechConcepts hosted an exploitation workshop, contributing to defining the pathways for exploitation of the project’s expected results. During this session, partners worked together to map out how the technological achievements of EXTENDED can progress toward real‑world application and market readiness — ensuring long‑term impact and sustainability of the innovations under development.

The General Assembly also served as a strong platform for collaboration, enabling partners to exchange insights, evaluate progress, and refine the shared roadmap moving forward. These face‑to‑face moments are invaluable in strengthening partner relationships and maintaining momentum within this Horizon Europe initiative.

A warm thank‑you goes to CEA for their excellent organization and hospitality, which created an inspiring environment for discussion and forward‑looking collaboration. We look forward to continuing our joint efforts as the EXTENDED project advances toward safer, more efficient, and more sustainable battery system technologies.
