This is an impression video of our 2nd General Assembly meeting of project RELiEF held in Lappeenranta in Finland on 12 and 13 June 2024. We can look back to a great meeting, where TechConcepts has hosted a short team-building session and a #workshop to pave the way for the exploitation of the results that will come from project RELiEF. Congratulations đź‘Ź to all partners for having such a wonderful project and a great #teamspirit. Our special thanks go out to the colleagues of LUT for being a wonderful host!!
We also participated to the Explorer Conference on 11 and 12 June, where we presented our poster “Exploitation pathways of recycling Lithium from secondary sources: a sustainable transition” together with our colleagues of Eurice.
The main objective of RELiEF is to push forward the necessary advancements to use Lithium-containing waste-streams for Europe’s Lithium supply safety and independence. The key focus is to recover battery grade Li from secondary sources and low-grade ores under one roof, by developing a flexible and continuous process flow sheet. TechConcepts BV participates in project RELiEF, which will run from July 2022 to June 2025.
TechConcepts will be leading part of the exploitation activities and will coordinate the “RELiEF road show”. In other words, we have an important role in ensuring that the future Li-batteries can be built with Lithium recovered from waste-streams, securing Europe’s Lithium demand for batteries with own resources. And we will probably organise some nice team-building events during our General Assembly meetings :-).
